A friend gave me two black silkie chicks (hens) this summer and I am in love <3  Right now I call them both fuzz but I need to come up with names for them.  They are so docile I just want to be in the coop with them all day :wink:!   I picked up a couple of older silkies, a white hen and a white rooster and a buff hen and buff rooster as well as a couple of black ones but they are not as friendly as my two little ones.  I probably won't do that again, I would prefer to bond with them when they are young.   But the older ones should hatch out a few broods so I can get my wish.  Anyway, I found this site via BYC and love all the pics and the information.
